“Turn out the Light” is a love song written to placate a significant other who has just been dealt a considerable setback. Sometimes, if all else fails, the best thing we can do is bring up of our favorite memories, and share a smile before "turning out the light". I guess Turn out the Light could be a sexual reference as well... However you take it is up to you, please consider it yours, and I hope it takes you somewhere else for a few minutes.
Turn out the Light was written and recorded at Kona Town Recording in Redondo Beach. I did the vocals, guitars, piano, and synths and it was engineered/mixed/mastered and co-produced by Jeff Bates.
